RADON - IMPORTANT TO TEST FOR

Radon is a phenomenom that can occur in any home. Radon is a colorless, naturally occurring, radioactive noble gas that is formed from the decay of radium. It is one of the heaviest substances that are gases under normal conditions and is considered to be a health hazard.

It has been reported that Radon causes 21,000 lung cancer deaths annually in the United States and is the sixth leading cause of cancer overall.

Most people are more familiar with it from dealings in real estate up north, but it is something that we find is being tested for more and more down here in Florida.

Radon and Mold are certainly two items that should always be tested for when purchasing property here in southwest Florida. We have enclosed an excellent 13 minute video about radon gas which we feel is important.
