TRADITIONS AT GREY OAKS OFFERS NEW VILLA HOMES

If you are in the mood for a villa home that is priced right, you might consider Traditions at Grey Oaks.
Construction is well under way for two of the models, the Alegria and the Bregante, which when completed sometime in February, will be fully furnished. There will be a third model, the Carillo and construction has begun on that unit as well and should be finished sometime in March. Under air footage square footage for the units will range between 2,642 square feet for the base model Alegria to 4,476 square feet for the Carillo unit.

NAPLES RITZ-CARLTON DROPS A STAR

As if, in the grande scheme of things it really mattered, the Ritz-Carlton beach front resort in Naples for 26 years has dropped a star according to Forbes Travel Magazine. The resort is now rated by Forbes as a 4-star hotel, having been rated as a 5-star for 23 out of the 26 years it has been in exestence.
The absolute absurdity of the things is that it might have been downgraded for a simple mistake of not addressing the inspector by name or addressing them warmely enough. Forbes claims that they spend one day evaluating the total experience of a resort before deciding. The inspectors claim that they literally go over every aspect of that experience with a fine tooth comb.

NAPLES CRIME RATE DIPS FOR 2010

Accoring to a recently released report from the Naples Police Department, crime is down 18% for the first six months of the year, and what makes it even more interesting is he fact that it is in a down economic climate. Normally you would think that the polar opposite would occur, in a poor economy the crime rate would rise. But within the City of Naples, that's certainly not the case.
Two of things that I have always touted about Naples is the low crime rate and modest traffic when compared to the other coast. Especially the traffic because one can tend to take the low crime rate for granted, but not the traffic. When 'high season' rolls arund, you can find yourself beefing about the traffic a bit, but a simple cure is to take a trip to the other side…
